Database Construction

ProtHub is a comprehensive platform designed for proteomic data integration and eHit generation. Our database is built upon the Human Proteome (UP000005640), integrating structural data from AlphaFold and PDB, along with bioactivity data from ChEMBL.

Function Guide

UniProt Search

Allows users to search for specific proteins using UniProt ID (e.g., P00533) or Gene Name (e.g., EGFR). The system provides a real-time autocomplete feature for quick access to target dashboards.

Usage: Enter ID → Press Enter

Sequence Search (BLAST)

Perform a sequence alignment search against our database. Input your protein sequence in FASTA format to identify homologous proteins and retrieve related ligand information.

Usage: Paste Sequence → Click Search

Similarity Search

Search for ligands with similar chemical structures using SMILES codes. Calculates Tanimoto similarity scores to identify potential binders across the human proteome.

Usage: Input SMILES → Select Cutoff → Search

AI Predictor

Utilizes deep learning models to predict the bioactivity of a given chemical structure against specific protein targets. Useful for virtual screening and hit discovery.

Usage: Input SMILES → Click Predict
